I don’t usually editorialize here, but I can’t help saying how pleased I was with comments on the previous image. Older women are seriously underrepresented in mainstream and fashion media—which is stupid, when you consider “older women” include some of the most elegant, avant-garde and inspiring people out there.

For more great pictures and killer style, check out age of happiness and advanced style. On this blog, I tag my images of women (mostly) over 50 with when I grow up. For men, try when you grow up.

And for those who suggest these women are the exceptions, I agree: not every nana is Helen Mirren. Then again, not every 22-year-old is Emma Watson…
