“Ballerina, set designer, costume designer, actress, and second wife of Rudolph Valentino, [Natacha Rambova] exhibited such control over his films that Paramount barred her from her husband’s sets. They divorced shortly afterward… An uncommon image of Valentino’s tempestuous spouse, who was bequeathed just one dollar in his will when he died in 1926.”
